As a Brand Associate in this role, you will play a key role in leading critical projects and supporting the management of the Progresso brand. You will support project execution throughout the innovation process to develop and commercialize multiple new product launches. In addition to supporting commercialization on new product launches, you will play a key role in interacting with consumers to shape the TPO development of multiple future pipeline launches. You will also support the project management and execution of projects to deliver annual cost savings targets. This role is also involved in analyzing in-market performance to uncover insights to inform business decisions while also managing our product assortment optimization and managing a sizeable media and consumer budget.
This role will provide you with a blend of experiences across new product innovation, cost savings, and established business management. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Project Management & Execution:
- Engage in the innovation process and support leading the cross-functional team to develop and commercialize new products that attract new consumers
- Lead the project management and support execution of key cost savings projects to deliver annual targets and enable reinvestment in the business
- Navigate critical systems and processes that enable successful project execution
Business Analysis & Reporting:
- Lead business analytics and reporting for Progresso to uncover relevant insights to influence business decisions
- Monitor new item performance to inform opportunities to accelerate or optimize
- Drive a strong external focus in a competitive category through closely monitoring and analyzing competitive dynamics in-market
Business Management:
- Manage the Progresso Consumer & Media budget driving clarity on in-year tracking and proactively identifying actions needed to spend within the total authorized budget
- Facilitate the business unit product pipeline meeting to drive productive discussion around the pipeline sufficiency of innovation, cost savings, and core news projects.
- Lead the SKU management process across Progresso to optimize the product assortment by analyzing and recommending potential product discos
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience post-undergrad
- Skills: Team leadership, Project Management, Data Analysis, Attention to Detail & Organizational Skills, Strong Communication Skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to manage multiple projects with executional excellence
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborative, team-oriented
- Experience analyzing quantitative data
- Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and drive results with a strong sense of urgency
- Experience with syndicated retail data (ie. Nielsen, IRI)
