What will you do: As a Senior full stack GIS Specialist, you will develop end to end complex, data-driven, GIS scalable web applications, with full stack technology, open-source and could technology. You will work with stakeholders such as product managers, data scientists and designers. If you want to work together with a talented team of doers (not talkers) on challenging projects in the GIS field and in an agile environment, we are looking for you! At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer - a must.
At least 4 years of experience with open-source GIS development - a must. At least 2 years of proven experience with web development - a must. Eat Javascript for breakfast for at least 2 years - a must. Experience with open-source 2D web mapping engine for at least 2 years - a must.
Hands-on experience with one or more modern web frameworks (Angular, React and/or Vue) - a must. Hands-on experience with writing modular code and Microservices for at least 2 years - a must. Experience with OpenLayers - a significant advantage. Experience with 3D web mapping engines such as CesiumJS - a significant advantage.
Experience with Geospatial Databases for at least 2 years such as PostGIS - a significant advantage. Experience with Node.js - a significant advantage. Experience with GeoServer - a significant advantage. Experience with Docker and Cloud environment - an advantage.
