About The Role

We are looking for a part time Privacy Officer to join our Risk & Compliance team, to support ongoing compliance with applicable privacy obligations and effective privacy risk management at Sportsbet.

The Privacy Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing privacy policies and procedures, conducting Privacy Impact Assessments, managing privacy incidents, and providing guidance and advice to the business on privacy related matters.

This is a job share role, working 3 days per week.

Responsibilities Include:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating internal communications on the impending reforms to the Privacy Act and assist with the assessment and implementation of any required uplift to ensure readiness.
  • Management and interpretation of all aspects of the Privacy Act that relate to, or would impact/affect, the operations of Sportsbet.
  • Collaborating with the Flutter Group Data Protection team and overseeing adherence to Group privacy and data protection requirements.
  • Constructing and providing periodic reports and updates to Senior Management and delivering internal privacy communications and training across the broader business.
