A key MSP client of GCS is hiring a Cloud Architect for their Government department client. This role is a 12 month contract and requires an individual with exceptional and specific skills who can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Azure Hosting Roadmap and Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Strategies.
- Lead Azure and Microsoft 365 projects from design to implementation.
- Create deployable cloud design patterns for efficient service deployment.
- Provide expert consultation, technical governance, and issue resolution.
- Optimize Azure costs, implement security controls, and ensure high availability.
- Design and maintain cloud virtual desktop operational services.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Azure architecture experience.
- Senior Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 certifications.
- Proficiency in Azure services and Microsoft 365 stack.
- Strong IaC skills: Azure DevOps, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
- Experience in private networking, hybrid environments, and VDI systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, Power Apps, and automation.
- Proven track record in successful cloud project delivery.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
