The position

As an Administrative Assistant, you will work closely with the other members of the Global Translation administrative group. You will become the backbone of the Early Clinical Pharmacology and Translational Medicine areas, taking on a wide range of different tasks, which may include:

  • Plan activities such as strategic workshops, team building and social events
  • Support the management team with tasks such as reporting, hiring processes, meetings etc.
  • Support meeting preparations, taking minutes, and follow-up on actions etc.
  • Prepare budgets and handle invoices
  • Support onboarding activities

Furthermore, as our new management assistant you will be the go-to person and support colleagues within the department with a variety of ad hoc tasks, while keeping track of department activities, needs and area plans.


Qualifications

To be considered for this position, we imagine that you have at least a few years of experience from an administrative position and that you thrive in this type of role.


Furthermore, you have:

  • Experience with planning and coordinating actions
  • A flair for numbers and experience with the planning and controlling of budgets
  • Solid IT skills and easily adapt to new systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You are proficient in both written and spoken in both English and Danish

As a person, you are a team player, always willing to help with a positive attitude. You are good at organizing and prioritizing tasks, and you get things done on time. You are also great at tackling problems on your own and can handle changes in a busy schedule. You are on top of things and spot issues before they become a big deal.


About the department

Early Clinical Pharmacology and Translational Medicine are areas in Global Translation in Research and Early Development. We are responsible for developing and biomarkers to guide early development decision-making and for designing and executing early clinical studies across Novo Nordisk portfolio. As Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to both the Early Clinical Pharmacology and Translational Medicine areas within Global Translation that consists of more than 30 skilled colleagues.
