About the role
As part of the Energy Solutions Finance & Controlling Team, you will oversee the overall financial management and provide support for all our commercial finance activities for the Asia Pacific region.
You will support the Head of Asset Management of Energy Solutions and the Head of Finance & Controlling APAC with financial transparency and control throughout the businesses and countries.
This position will be based in Bangkok, Thailand.

About the role
As part of the Energy Solutions Finance & Controlling Team, you will oversee the overall financial management and provide support for all our commercial finance activities for the Asia Pacific region.
You will support the Head of Asset Management of Energy Solutions and the Head of Finance & Controlling APAC with financial transparency and control throughout the businesses and countries.
This position will be based in Bangkok, Thailand.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for the overall Financial Management for Energy Solutions for the APAC region
- Lead budgeting and forecasting for all Energy Solutions business unit and monthly variance reporting
- Lead annual audit process for all business entities under Energy Solution in APAC
- Lead liquidity planning for all business entities under Energy Solution in APAC
- Ensure billing, collection of account receivables and payment of payables are accurate and timely
- Monitor cash balance and intercompany structures
- Issuance of management account and financial statements for all business entities under Energy Solution APAC
- Manage accounting staff and any finance and control outsourced functions in APAC
- Maintain chart of account (accounting code)
- Review commercial finance activities – Project IRR, ROCE, Investment models and approvals
- Preparation and review of presentation slides (e.g., Forecast, Budget, APAC Board meetings, and etc.)
- Support internal Call for Investments and gate approvals processes
- Develop and maintain business and portfolio performance measurements and reporting
- Support on project and business levels financial analysis
- Review and reporting in relation to commercial contracts (for example PPA, EPC, O&M, Asset Management Agreements)
- Maintain and improve policies and procedures
- Implement and adopt operational best practices
- Review control weaknesses and suggest improvements
- Support formulation of tax strategy
- Support financing strategy
- Support in various ERP implementations when required
What You Bring
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Have at least 10 years of experience in field of accounting and finance
- Proficient in accounting and capable in finance modelling using Excel
- Strong PowerPoint drafting and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and articulation skills, in English
- Knowledge in financial management and investment capital planning
- Experience in ERP implementation is preferred
- Experience in renewable energy business is preferred
